Route 66 Revamp
Seminar is a hands-on, full-semester program that collaborated with the city of Tucumcari, New Mexico, to redesign Route 66. This project had two exhibits:a pop-up exhibit with visiting artist Craig Winslow that was in Tucumcari, and a final exhibit held in Las Vegas with video projections, 3D models, and some illustrations.
The pop-up exhibit was created in less than seven hours. I used Blender 3D to model, texture, animate, and render a 3D vintage bottle cap and beveled frame.
For our final exhibit, I used Blender 3D to model a buffalo and a buffalo scull and then used Flash Forge to 3D print the models by myself and one other artist, Gabe Jimenez.
